The Globalstar Transportable Car Kit is a convenient, ready-to-go package accessory for the GSP-1600 Handheld Phone that houses and protects the GCK-1410 Car Kit. The TCK-1410 allows users to easily transport the car kit components to and from various locations in a lightweight, compact carrying case without the inconvenience of full installation. The Transportable Car Kit is the ideal solution for multiple users who want to enjoy the same voice and data capabilities that the GCK-1410 Car Kit offers, but require a more mobile and flexible format.

Privacy Handset attaches to the Hands-Free Vehicle Kit (GCK1410) to allow customers to converse using a traditional handset for added privacy, or to reduce background noise.

Vehicle Kit enables customers to use the Globalstar GSP-1600 from inside a vessel. The kit features easy installation, a speaker and microphone for hands-free operation, phone cradle, built in battery charger, integrated RS232 (serial) port for data communications, electronics module, external magnetic rooftop satellite antenna, and standard cable assembly with 5.5m (18 ft.) of cabling. The kit can also be ordered with either 9m (30 ft.), 13m (45 ft.) or 24m (80 ft.) of cabling. Globalstar's GSP-1600 Handheld Phone (GSP1600) is sold separately.

This kit provides Internet and e-mail access at the industry's fastest data speed of 9.6 KBps through the Globalstar handheld phone. A five-foot data cable connects the phone directly to an IBM-compatible computer (RS232 -compatible serial port).

This high capacity battery pack enables talk and standby times that more than double those of the standard battery pack. Up to 3.5 hours talk time and 9 hours standby in Globalstar mode; 4.5 hours talk time, 72 hours standby in CDMA cellular mode; 2.5 hours talk time, 14 hours standby in AMPS.
