SatellitePhoneStore.com offers a variety of options for maintaining and servicing satellite communication equipment.

Standard Maintenance Plan

This maintenance plan has been designed by for our Iridium and BGAN customers, as well as new customers with this equipment purchased prior to becoming a SatellitePhoneStore customer. This plan is perfect for anyone that wish's to keep their Iridium phones or Inmarsat BGAN terminals in optimal working condition and includes the following:

  • Free Firmware/Software upgrades
  • Free cleanings (water damage cleaning available but this is not a warranted or guaranteed service)
  • Free Testing and Evaluation
  • Free maintenance log for your phone
  • Free 24/7 Technical Support

The Standard Maintenance Plan does not cover the cost of any repairs/replacement parts or repair labor. To enroll, simply complete and return the enrollment form and one of our service representatives will contact you to complete the signup.

Maintenance Plus Plan*

This plan provides all the Standard Maintenance Plan services and includes parts, service, and labor for repairs. Some of the list of parts, services, and repairs include: Antenna; SIM card reader/SIM latch door/MMI PCB; LCD screen; Front or Back Housing; Data port; Microphone; Speaker; Keypad Board; Antenna Swivel Socket, and sensor; Keypad; Volume switch; Capacitor; Battery/Internal memory battery.

Additional Insurance

As an additional benefit there are replacement equipment options for warranty and service plan customers. With this added option there is an additional cost on the annual price depending on the equipment owned. There is also a deductible for the replacement of the un-repairable equipment. Contact us for more information.

Water Damaged Equipment If a unit is submerged/water damaged, take the battery out as quickly as possible to prevent further damage to the main board. The longer the unit sits, the more corrosion sets in, so the equipment should be sent in for treatment as soon as possible. This process is not guaranteed. Any submerged unit will possibly need other parts replaced which would be added at that time.
