When renting a BGAN it is important to understand how the data charges work on BGAN Service plans. The charts and information on this page will help you to choose how much data you will need during your rental period. Along with your rental you may also want to look into data acceleration software such as SPSMAIL.NET in order to get the quickest data speeds with the smallest amount of data usage.

The rates shown below are for our Inmarsat BGAN Rentals. Although the rates are very similar to our BGAN service plans they are a little more expensive when renting. Standard IP internet connections are for all online Internet applications. When a BGAN is used for Internet the service is billed by the Megabyte of data transferred and not by the duration at which it was connected. Any usage above the prepaid amount will be billed at $8.00/MB. Rental customers can email or call to purchase more MBs during a rental at anytime before the rental is returned. Make telephone calls at the same time as accessing Internet applications via a standard desktop phone, wherever you are on the planet! Telephone calls to mobile phones or land line phones are billed by the Minute (MIN).

Postpaid rate is $1.25/Minute. Where quality is paramount, such as live video, select guaranteed data Quality of Service (QoS) Streaming IP rates 32, 64, 128, 256 & 384 kbps. Streaming IP is billed by the Minute (MIN).
Send and receive SMS messages to cell phones from the LaunchPad Software. SMS message are billed per sent or received messages and are limited to 160 characters.
Integrated Services Digital Network - ISDN service is billed by the Minute (MIN).
Send and receive Faxes from any destination, the Fax service is billed by the Minute (MIN).
